For a brief moment, before the latest publicised victim of systemic brutality, there was a hope that this wouldn’t happen again. We were wrong. There was hope that this wouldn’t happen again.

We were wrong. 

Outrage should not die down.
Grief should not paralyse you into inaction.
Fear should not stifle you into assimilation.
